The weather was gorgeous for the two days we spent in Ko Samui.

It was an early start for our boat trip out to Ang Thong National Marine Park. After a stop in a clear water bay for some snorkeling it was off to see the lagoon at the Marine Park and relax under the palms...... gorgeous :-)

We kayaked again....our favourite thing to combat those bingo wings!

After an exhasting shopping trip early evening we went out for a few cocktails. Everything was closing around midnight so we decided to checkout the lady boys at one of the hostess bars..... interesting!

We caught the ferry from Ko Lanta to Krabi. We found a really cheap room in Krabi town and were pleasantly surprised to find it was really nice.

We took a Kayaking trip in the morning through the limestone formations and then a boat trip to some of the other bays. It was a really nice day out but the weather was not so good, it rained most of the day!

Pure relaxation

We were so close to Ko Lanta that we thought we would pay it a visit. The island is much quieter than ko Phi Phi so we spent the day relaxing by the pool and the beach, in the shade for me and my sunburn :-(

Ko Phi Phi

We got an early ferry from Phuket to Ko Phi Phi and arrived just after lunch.

In a bid to cut down on our overspending we chose a place which had a pool but cut out the air con, this was ok until the fan broke down :-(

The island is really pretty, very touristy and young though. Did more shopping here, not sure why I needed another bikini, I fear Karen's shopping influence is rubbing off on me!

We took a boat trip round the surrounding islands, the beaches are stunning. Karen, Paula and I did loads of Kayaking from the boat, so much so that I have lovely "brits abroad" sunburn all up my legs :-(

We are supposed to be leaving KL today so we got up early to queue for tickets to the sky bridge connecting the two towers.

We had a quick briefing and up to the top to check out the view.

Our tickets were for the 11.30 showing so we missed out hotel checkout and ended up spending another afternoon checking out the shopping :-)
